Q: How does an audience response system work?
The system is used to display your presentation, each
participant has a keypad and uses it to respond to
the questions. Answers are available instantly and the
information is stored in a database for further use.
Q: Does it work with PowerPoint?
Our software is a native add-in to Power Point so easily
converts regular PowerPoint slides to interactive slides.
Q: Where can an audience response system be used?
The system is fully portable and can be used anywhere a
laptop can.
Q: Do you have to be in "line of sight" in order to
make the keypad work?
No the keypads communicate using radio frequency.
Q: How many keypads can I have?
There are no restrictions. You could have as few as 5 for
small meeting to 5000 for a major conference.
Q: How long does the audience have to answer a
question?
It is entirely up to you. An on-screen clock can be provided
to show the amount of time you've specified for the vote,
or leave the vote open until you decide to close it.
Q: How long does it take to get the answers?
Answers are immediately available and can be displayed
instantly, at the end of a session or not at all. Responses can
be tracked or anonymous.
Q: If I hire an audience response system how are the questions set up?
The questions are pre-programmed before your event by ourselves. If you have a
company template this can be used to ensure continuity of company identity.
Q: Can changes be made on the day of the event?
Yes changes can be made on site and additional questions added if required.
Q: Does an audience response system take long to set up?
Usually the technician will be able to be up and running in an hour.
Q: Can there be interference with cell phones or wireless microphones?
No. The frequencies used are outside the range of those types of devices.
Q: What about the software license? Do I have to renew every year?
No Our voting software comes with a lifetime license and the software can be
installed on 2 computers.
